An Avon Lady's Crusade Against Breast Cancer

On May 14 & 15th 2005, I once again walked 40 miles for the fight against breast cancer.
With 1750 walkers, we raised a total of 4.1 million dollars!

Sadly, after walking 6 Avon Walks in her honor, my friend Maria passed away in September 2005 after a ten year battle with breast cancer. I have learned much from her courage and strength througout my brief friendship with her. I don't consider her battle lost; what I learned from her I will pass on. She lives on in my heart.
